Am not sure at what age a child should be taught to clean itself, but I actually expected my little girl to be tidier than the word tidy itself. See, am a neat freak. BUT my daughter throws everything everywhere. Worse, I used to discover foods hidden under her bed. Mostly sandwiches. My daughter is Italian and will not eat cheese!!!!! Well, every time we give her a sandwich its eaten very fast. She's a slow eater, just like me. I used to yell but it never worked. I adjusted myself by not giving her anymore sandwiches. I give her carrots instead or a plate of cold cuts. So I asked her to clean her room. Well she did and I was too tired to get up, so I asked her to take pictures. I was so moved at her efforts, I gave her lots of hugs and kisses.
